Edit: it is Leova that mentioned store credit. The system as it is now does not provide reasonable value, unless it can be applied to any store purchase and or trade in multiple tanks. I was looking forward to picking up some low tier crew trainers for Czech, Chinese and Japanese lines. Because of that, the Sandbox will be temporarily unavailable starting July 21. Typical cavalry vehicles would be high-tier Soviet and Chinese medium tanks. You guys really screwed the pooch on this.
I would like to get this tank to tank advantage of the loot drops for the next few weeks. Join other participants in chat on the test server. We will be moving to the new vehicle role model gradually, so that players have time to adjust. Pankov: Some of the more problematic maps will be added to Sandbox. Also why can't people trade in tier 8s, is it because then they wouldn't have to spend enough or any money at all on the tank they're trading in for? They're maneuverable with good gun handling. We are here for the free exchange of tips, strategies, player guides, how-to's, news, information, and discussion.
Not everyone will receive access to the Sandbox. So far, we cannot reveal all details about changes in the second test iteration, except for a few things that we are sure about. Please go to this and be sure to choose the time zone you feel is best suited to you to be able to fully enjoy Clan wars from your area. This means it is a very experimental format -- battles on this server offer a very different game experience, and we realized and expected that players would have mixed emotions about such big changes. More details on that in the near future. Many players pointed out some problems with the first iteration of these changes: for example, it became harder to aim at vulnerable spots of enemy vehicles not only from afar, but from closer as well. The concept is good, it has potential, don't let all the work wargaming has put into it go to waste.
In the future, we plan on making individual changes to vehicles and adjusting the interaction system among vehicles of different roles, keeping equal effectiveness for each one. Murazor: Some of the problems with maps will be resolved with the new balance changes, as due to the new vehicle roles and changes to artillery, players should be behaving differently on the maps. Set a discount rate that players would be able to use towards the purchase of a new tank. When we update the server, it will become unavailable. To keep it fair, limit the total discount on the new tank to 50% of the regular price. Lemonhead also mentioned store credit and while I like the idea I don't understand the reasoning behind just letting people pocket the gold. Do you need feedback or can I just play? You lose nothing, and still have the desired result of getting people to spend a portion of their gold reserves on getting the newer tanks.
Your suggestions, input and ideas allow us to understand what you like, dislike or want to see in the game. Personally, I already own two of the four tier 7s, and have no interest in any of the tier 8s currently available. Access to the test server can be terminated or restricted at any time for non-compliance with the and. But within the same class could be vehicles with completely different play characteristics and effective roles in battle. Any player can apply to participate.
Topic: I have mixed feelings so far for the upcoming patch, but then I am torn between the diversity and complexity compared to a more streamlined entry level to make it easier for new players. But I don't know if it's good thing that they only focus on rebuilding the tech tree when it works just fine as it is. In order to achieve these balance goals, the game mechanics listed below will be changed: 1. Pankov: Each week we try to add new players of all skill levels — not just ones with good stats. We understand your major concerns regarding balance including the matchmaker, interrelation among vehicle roles, some map problems, etc.
Unfortunately the only tanks available are a few 7s and some 8s. Graphics are the main thing that keeps me away from playing this game more than few times per month. So I can spend less gold and still have fun with good tanks. What languages does the server support? What kind of rules will there be on the test server? The concept of the new program is appreciated. Open up the program to all premium tanks available for trade in, and you can restrict the tanks that the credit is applied to to the tanks currently available for sale in store, unless its a newly released tank, premium tech tree or tech tree premiums that are open for purchase. Murazor: We're currently working hard on the matchmaker, and ideally, it would consider this a problem. These are more skill-based tanks and stand out thanks to high firepower and excellent armor penetration.
I am not willing to spend so much gold for a trade in. Unfortunately I don't want any of the tanks you are allowing us to buy with the trade in. First, let us trade-in almost any premium. Smoke rounds risk interfering with the gameplay experience of allied players and could negatively impact gameplay. Their objective is to secure and hold key strategic areas.
I definitely sold it for a reason because it's a bad tank and likely won't purchase it again and probably at full price too. I could understand us not being able to trade-in tanks we've earned through ops , but even than there are plenty of people who made large purchases on tier 8s that never panned out for them and they'd like to trade those in for something they'd play. You have to do better than that to make me even consider this. Final implementation will depend on the analysis of the data we collect from the tests. There is ftp competition, the server populations are lower, many current players don't like the flavor of the merc tanks, and I'm sone cases the game is just old.
I would consider picking up other tanks if the price is right, but as mentioned already, I'm not about to take a tier 2 or 3 tank, get less than 1000 gold from one tank to apply to a potentially 11000 gold tier 8 premium, it's simply not worth it. I've got 6 or 7 tanks I want rid of none of them on the list, why can't I trade in a tank of my choice for a tank of my choice? How do I know my application is approved? The main source of information about the test server will be on the Sandbox forum threads that will be created for discussion. Changing the Shot Dispersion in the Aiming Circle This will decrease the effective firing distance, increase vehicle survivability at long distances, and require more careful aim. The best way to improve it as far as I can tell would be to allow players to trade in however many tanks they want, turn them into credits and then allow players to use those credits towards the purchase of a new tank. Your participation will help us gather feedback on possible changes, and you'll have more opportunities to influence development moving forward! However, one of the new features that we plan to test is the prohibition or limitation of artillery when playing within a Platoon. Will you be doing something about this? The same rules from our game server apply to the test server, and we'll be monitoring this behavior in the same way.
